Once you receive your Home Care Aide Certification from the State of Washington you must complete 12 hours of Continuing Education every year before your birthday. Columbia Safety offers the 12 hours in a two-day course.
In our two-day continuing education program you will be able to complete the 12 hours needed to meet Washington State requirements to keep your HCA current. These courses will change each year for a variety of new training in different aspects of your career.
For groups of 5 or more, we can hold a 12-hour CE of your choice of the three listed below. Appointments for special classes must be made 1 month in advance by phone at (509) 820-3883.
Redirecting challenging behaviors and clients rights
Communication and Skin Integrity
Navigating clients diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injuries
Most continuing education is offered for 3 to 5 days. At Columbia Safety we understand that leaving your client is not that easy to do for safety and personal reasons.
We are aware of how every moment counts to get your certificate in so we offer yours at the end of day two.
By purchasing online today, you are reserving your spot for our next available class. We will call you as soon as those dates are confirmed on our course calendar.
