Program Outcomes
Upon successful completion the student will be authorized to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician exam (NREMT). After successful completion of the NREMT exam the individual will be awarded a Nationally recognized AEMT certification. The individual will then be able to apply for their Washington State AEMT certification. (NOTE: Washington state requires a state certification to practice. In order to obtain this certification an individual must have an agency affiliation. Columbia safety does not actively place students with an agency, but can recommend agencies a student may apply to. Successful completion of the Columbia Safety EMT program does not grant WA state licensure).
